These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the REDX Web website and services. By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services

REDX Web provides web development services including but not limited to:

  • Website design and development
  • E-commerce solutions
  • Web application development
  • Website maintenance and support
  • SEO and digital marketing services

2. Project Engagement

2.1 Quotations

All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Prices are in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and exclude applicable taxes.

2.2 Deposits and Payments

  • A 50% deposit is required to commence work
  • Final payment is due upon project completion, before website launch
  • Monthly services are billed at the beginning of each billing period
  • Late payments may incur a 1.5% monthly interest charge

2.3 Timeline

Project timelines are estimates and depend on timely provision of content, feedback, and approvals from the client. Delays caused by the client may affect the delivery date.

3. Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to:

  • Provide necessary content, images, and materials in a timely manner
  • Provide feedback and approvals within agreed timeframes
  • Ensure provided content does not infringe any third-party rights
  • Maintain secure access credentials

4. Intellectual Property

4.1 Client Content

The client retains ownership of all content, images, and materials they provide.

4.2 Project Deliverables

Upon full payment, the client receives full ownership of the custom code and design created specifically for their project. We retain the right to use the project in our portfolio unless otherwise agreed.

4.3 Third-Party Assets

Third-party themes, plugins, and libraries remain under their respective licenses.

5. Revisions and Changes

  • Each project includes a specified number of revision rounds
  • Additional revisions beyond the included rounds will be quoted separately
  • Major scope changes require a new quotation
  • Post-launch changes are charged at our standard hourly rate

6. Warranty and Support

  • We provide 30 days of bug-fix support after launch
  • This covers functional issues with code we developed
  • It does not cover issues caused by third-party services, hosting, or client modifications
  • Extended support is available through our maintenance packages

7. Limitation of Liability

REDX Web shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or website. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the services.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate the engagement with 14 days written notice. Upon termination:

  • The client pays for all work completed to date
  • Deposits are non-refundable
  • We will provide all deliverables completed up to the termination date

9. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary information disclosed during the project. This obligation survives the termination of our engagement.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
